We all have that one friend whose always cold.
OK, maybe I don’t have that friend because I am that friend.
When I was trying to think of some original gifts for my friends I thought, what would I like to receive? I’m always trying to find new and fun gifts to get my friends for the holidays, but some gifts will always be fun to give. If you have one of those perpetually cold friends, this may be the gift giving guide for you!
Or if you just like cozy, warmth inducing gifts, read on.
Last year my husband gave me a robe for Christmas. Its pink, has dogs on it, and is ridiculously soft and warm. What more could I want? Mine keeps me cozy after a hot shower when I’m putting on my makeup and primping before work. There are so many different colors and styles of robes, you can easily find one tailored to the style of your friend.
Who doesn’t love a good bath? Especially in the cold winter months. Giving bath bombs as a gift will encourage your gift recipient to take a warm, soothing bath. I like to use the Me! Bath Bombs, which can be found at Target. There are many “flavors” such as Papaya, Milk n’ Honey, and Lavender, as well as holiday “flavors” like Santa’s Cookies, and Candy Cane Lane.
Both are my best friends. I am obsessed with fuzzy, plush socks, I can never have enough and I continuously buy more each year. From someone whose always cold: you can never give enough fuzzy socks as gifts. I got a new pair of slippers last year, which I live in. Cute slipper options are endless; I’m loving these from Francesca’s this year. Hint, hint.
I always thought these looked ridiculous…ridiculously warm. And I was right. I look ridiculous in one and I am ridiculously warm. I finally treated myself to one this past Black Friday, not sure why I waited as long as I did! It’s been my go-to lounge outfit at night since the temperature has been steadily dropping. It’s so warm and cozy, I am like a walking teddy bear. I found mine at Hollister, but Francesca’s has some really great options too!
Whether it’s a standard or travel mug, a mug can help remind your gift recipient to make themselves something warm to drink. You can even give them their favorite warm drink along with the mug (coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc.). I can always find really great and unique mugs at Home Goods.
I absolutely adore blankets, which is why I own so many. On any given night-in at my house, you can find at least four blankets draped across our couches. My husband and I both need one, and then we each need an additional one for when our dog inevitably steals it from us both. My favorite place to find blankets: Home Goods!
Keep your friends warm this winter with gifts they will truly enjoy!
